What is a credit?
1 credit = 1 full transcript of any video length. Replaying a transcript your account already owns is free. A transcript stored for another account still costs 1 credit. Failed requests never consume credits.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Transcription pauses until your credits reset on your billing date. You can upgrade anytime from Pricing and your new credits are available immediately.
Is API and MCP access really included in the Free plan?
Yes. Every plan includes the full REST API and the MCP server for AI assistants. Paid plans raise the rate limits. See the YouTube Transcript API and MCP server docs.
Monthly or annual billing?
Annual billing gives you 4 months free: you pay for 8 months and get 12. You can switch between monthly and annual when you change plans.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel in the billing portal and keep access until the end of your paid period. No lock-in.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used fewer than 100 credits. For anything else, reach out with details and we'll make it right if the issue was on our side.
